Borup’s Victory wins at Umaker

Daniel Wajesten’s trained and driven Borup’s Victory (6m Googoo Gaagaa-Borup’s Julia-Naglo) was victorious today at Umaker in the STL Gold raced over 2140 meters autostart with 17,200€ to the winner.

The winner now has 14 career wins in 31 starts and he is three for four this year. It is fitting that this trotteur received an Elitloppet invite following his victory today. Off at 1.75/1 odds the winner defeated 11.4/1 Axel Ruda (7g Formula One) riven by Ulf Ohlsson for Per Landin the breeder/owner/trainer. Third home was 84.2/1 Rome Pays Off (7m Muscle Hill-Orderly Wish-Cantab Hall) with Per Linderoth driving for trainer Daniel Wajesten. Race time was 1.11.7kr.

In the Berth Johanssons Memorial (purse to winner 17,200€, 2140 meters autostart, five starters) the 1.1/1 odds favorite Joviality (5f Chapter Seven-Pasithea Face-Muscle Hill) won easily timed in 1.11.8kr. Erik Adielsson drove the winner for Sabine Kagebrant training for Courant AB. Joviality now has 27 wins in 43 starts with one win in 2024 from four appearances. The 24,4/1 odds Ante La Rogue (5m Uncle Lasse) was second for Mats E. Djuse and 5,5/1 Bengan (5m Django Riff) took third for Magnus A. Djuse  This pair are trained by Daniel Reden.
