Idylle Speed headlines Vincennes groupe tests

Four groupe tests were on today’s Paris-Vincennes program. In the Gr. II Prix Guy Deloison (purse 100,000€, 2700 meters, three year old European females) Idylle Speed (3f Carat Williams-Prudence du Ham) scored in 1.14.1kr for Franck Nivard and trainer F.P. Bossuet with a front end journey. This was her fifth career win good now for 125,200€ earned. Ivensong (3f Ready Cash-Amy Crown) was second handled by David Thomain for trainer Philippe Allaire. Christophe Toulonge is the breeder/owner. Its Now Or Never (3f Charly du Noyer-Deep Purple) took third for Francois Lagadeuc, owner Gitte Paulsen-Allaire and breeder/trainer Philippe Allaire. Italienne (by Goetmals Wood) and I Want You (by Ganymede) completed the top five finishers. Winner’s photo below.

Callmethebreeze (3m Trixton-Gilly LB) took the Gr. II Prix Pierre Plazen (purse 100,000€, 2700 meters, three year olds European males) clocked in 1.13.5kr. Philippe Allaire owns and trains this colt and Andrea Guzzinati did the teaming for the 16/1 outsider that powered home from the back. The winner recorded his eighth career victory now for 286,960€ earned. Impressionist (3m Ready Cash-Une Lady de Nappes) was second for Eric Raffin, breeder/trainer Louis Baudron and Ecurie Hunter Valley at 1.8/1 oddds. Third was Inferno Piper (3m Coup de Poker) for Christophe Martens. Italiano Vero was a miscue dq.

In the Gr. II Prix Jockey -Sulky 5 Ans Qualifier 5 (purse 100,000€, 2700 meters) Gelati Cut (5m Coktail Jet-Variety Cut) was a 1.12.4kr front end winner for pilot Gabriele Gelormini, trainer R.C. Larue and Ecurie de Windcut. This was his 10th victory good for 621,448€ earned. Gout Baroque (5m Offshore Dream-Joei Baroque) was second for Alexandre Abrivard and conditioner Thierry Raffegeau. Third home was Go On Boy (5m Password-Balginette) for trainer/driver Romain Derieux. Grand Art (5m Prodigious) and Gala Tejy (by Atlas de Joudes) completed the top five and Green Grass was a miscue dq.

Gr. III Prix Legoux-Longpre (monte, purse 80,000€, 4-5 year olds) went to 1.12.9kr timed and 13/1 odds Gabiano (5g Brutus de Bailly-Abeona) for Alexandre Abrivard, trainer Bruno Bourgoin and breeder/owner Michel Sanchi. The winner secured his fifth career victory now for 246,390€ earned. The 5/10 favorite Gladys des Plaines (5f Opus Viervil-Thetis de Vaujours) was second with Mathieu Mottier in the irons. Gloire Joyeuse (5f Rex Normanus-Toccata Joyeuse) was third for trainer and jockey Gloire Joyeuse.
