90,000€ Prix de New York to Cash Bank Bigi

Cash Bank Bigi (5f The Bank-Settenote Club) narrowly took today’s (June 17) Prix de New York at Enghien in France (purse 90,000€, 2150 meters autostart for 5–10-year-olds) timed in 1.13.1kr and reined by Franck Nivard for trainer Fabrice Souloy and owner Rossano Biselli.

This was the winners’ fourth victory in France and he now has earnings of 323,460€.  He was off at 3.2/1 odds and defeated 2/1 Kennedy (8m Joke Face-Lisa America-Varenne) with Eric Raffin his pilot for Stall Panamera Racing and trainer H.E. Bondo. The 9/1 Al Capone Stecca (7m Napoleon Bar-Ombretta Bar) landed third for trainer Souloy, driver Tony Le Beller and owner Emiliano Stecca.

The 18/1 Fine Perle Of Love (8f Theo Josselyn-Source Of Love) was fourth with Matthieu Abrivard teaming for owner/trainer Emmanuel Varin. Impressionist was fifth for Louis Baudron.

The sire of Cash Bank Bigi stands stud in Canada at Winbak Ontario and this Donato Hanover-Lantern Kronos product earned $1,214,895 from stakes victories that included the three-year-old Breeders Crown among others.

Earlier on the card owner Jean Pierre Dubois won a pair starting with the Prix de la Place Dupleix (purse 52,000€, 2150 meters autostart for three-year-old females).

Here the 1.7/1 odds Kotkie (3f Love You-Erika Dream-Ready Cash) rallied late on the pegs to score in 1.14.6kr for owned JPD, driver David Bekaert and trainer J.A. Hernandez-Navarro. This was her first win in France and advanced her earnings to 25,520€. The breeder was Lisa Lemire Dubois.

Kacha de Vandel (3f Pacha du Pont) was second for driver David Thomain, Ecurie Hunter Valley and trainer Tomas Malmqvist, this one off at 8.6/1 odds. Kalmia Quick (3f Up And Quick) took third at 2.4/1 odds with Eric Raffin her pilot for Ecurie Quick Star and trainer J.M. Baudouin.

In the Prix de Bonne-Nouvelle (purse 52,000€, 2150 meters autostart, three-year-old males) the 15/1 Kiroman (3m Fabulous Wood-Quiromantica) held on to win in 1.15.2kr for David Bekaert, trainer Hernandex-Navarro and owner JPD. This was his third career victory now for 49,660€ earned.

Kero Petteviniere (3g Enino du Pommereux) was second at 5.7/1 with Alexandre Abrivard driving for breeder/trainer Sylvain Roger and owner Philippe Feriaud. The 7.6/1 Kassidy Kid (3m Goetmals Wood) held third for pilot Franck Nivard, Stall Rita and trainer E.E. Bondo.
