The Prix de Glaieuls (purse €34,000, 2700 meters, 12 two year olds) went to 4/5 favorite Éclair Nonantais (2m Sunday Break-Castries-Captain Rio) with J-M Bazire driving. Hadu Coatings BV owns this one and Fabrice Souloy is the trainer. 4.8/1 Embrun de Mai (2m Ready Cash-Sirene de Mai) was second for Anthony Barrier, trainer Philippe Allaire and owner Ecurie Comte P de Montesson. 17/1 Express Evening (2m Nahar de Beval-Traviata de star) was a fast closing third.
Two year-olds were also in action in the Prix de Glaieuls B (purse €34,000, 2700 meters, 12 starters). 45/1 Esperado (2g Paris Haufor-Rose d’Afrique) rallied to win for Alexis Girandeau, also owner and trainer. 1.4/1 favorite Eldorado du Chene (2m Severino-Imperiale du Chene) was second for Franck Nivard and third was 3.4/1 El Toro (2g Reach de Vandel-Rue des Melezes) with Mathieu Mottier up for trainer Denise Mottier.
The co-featured monte Prix de Postrenen (purse €85,000, 2700 meters, 13 starters) ended with 5.4/1 Celina Polka (4f Kool de Caux-LaCanella) on the line first at 5.4/1 odds. Alexandre Abrivard was in the irons for owner/trainer Joel Van Eeckhaute. The mare was clocked in 1;13;8kr off even fractions to defeat 1.8/1 favorite Catalogne (4f Cygnus d’Odyssee) thatr Mathieu Mottier handled for trainer Denise Mottier. Codie de Beauieu (4f Oyonnax) was a close third.
The Pick 5 Prix de Jussy (purse €80,000, 2175 meters, 13 starters) went to 1.12.8kr timed Cash Maker (4g Coktail Jet-Salt Lake City) with trainer Sebastian Ernault driving. The 7/2 odds winner bested 14/1 Bily Gueriniere (5g Prodigious-Haldame) that was second for trainer/driver Mathieu Abrivard and third went to 12/1 Clarck Sotho (4g Poiseau de Feux-Mocanda) with Anthony Barrier at the lines.
