Cleangame wins GNT Paris-Turf 4th Leg

Cleangame (10g Ouregon de Celland-Red Bell), off as the 7/10 odds favorite, returned to form by winning the fourth leg of the Gr. III Grand National du Trot Paris-Turf at Châteubriant in France. (purse 90,000€, 2975 meters distance handicap, 5-10 year olds).

Trainer Jean Michel Bazire teamed the now 42-time career winner for owner J.P. Bragato. Timed in 1,.11.9kr over 3,025 meters,  Cleangame increased his career earnings to 1,770.370€.

The 4.3/1 odds and 25-meter handicapped Hanna des Molles (5f Village Mystic) was second for Alexandre Abrivard and trainer L.C. Abrivard, with third to 34/1 outsider Freyja du Pont (7f Quinoa du Gers) reined by her trainer Nicolas Bazire. She too handled a 25-meter handicap.

This weekend will be the Criterium de Vitesse de Basse-Normandie (Gr. II International, purse 100,000€, 1609 meters autostart) at Argentan. This April 30^th event presents a well-balanced field of 15 starters.
