Cleangame scores in 100,000€ Grand Prix Anjou-Maine

The 4/10 odds favorite Cleangame (9g Ouragon de Celland-Red Bell) scored today in the Gr. III Grand Prix Anjou-Maine at Angers (purse 100,000€, 3125 meters distance handicap, International 5-10 year olds) clocked in 1.14.9kr.

Harness racing driver Eric Raffin teamed the winner as they overcame a 25 meter handicap to win for trainer J-M Bazire and owner J.P. Bragato. This was Cleangame’s 39th career victory now for 1,614,670€ in life earnings.

The barefoot winner solidified his comeback story, defeated 13/1 Carnaval du Vivier (9g Ni Ho Ped d’Ombree) reined by Clement Duvaldestin for owner Philippe Belorvisage amd trainer Thierry Duvaldestin. Third was 33/1 outsider Fairlay d’Urzy (6m Ready Cash) driven by Romain Congard for trainer Jean Michel Bazire.Cleangame

At Vincennes (October 5) the 5.2/1 odds Ibra Meslois (3m The Best Madrik-Vista Mesoise) scored in 1.12.2kr for David Thomain in the Prix Kurse (purse 66,000€, Gr. III, 2100 meters autostart, European three year olds).

Pierre Belloche trains the winner for Ecurie Bois Doufray. He recorded victory number three in his career that has yielded 101,390€ in life earnings. 3/1 Cocis MP (3g Manofmanymissions-Only Bi) was second for Frank Nivard, trainer H.E. Bondo and Scuderia Bindi. The 5.3/1 Italienne (3f Goeltmals Wood-Doceanide) took third for Anthony Barrier and trainer Philippe Allaire.
