Cokstile (9m Quite Easy-Joystile-Coktail Jet) took the Finandia AJO (purse 190,000€, 1620 meters autostart, Gr. I International) at Vermo Helsinki, Finland timed in a new race record 1.09.6kr.
This victory earned Cokstile an Elitloppet 2022 invitation for the May 29 classic.
Christoffer Eriksson teamed the Erik Bondo trainee for Scuderial Santese Srl. This was Cokstile’s 25th career win in 68 starts for 1,283,086€ in life earnings.
Cokstile sat outside Bepi Bi and Majestic Man before surging to the front in the final bend and he drew off comfortably.
Stoletheshow (7m Dream Vacation-Abba Hall-Garland Lobell) was second for pilot Bjorn Goop and third home was Gareth Boko (9m Make It Happen-Vanilla Boko-Pine Chip) for Santtu Raitala. Tycoon Conway Hall (12m Conway Hall-Golden Sunday-Supergill) finished fourth.
