Competivo takes Quinte+ at Vincennes

Competivo (6g Bird Parker-Sherry) handily took today’s Prix de L’Hippodrome d’Angers (quinte+, purse 46,000€, 2850 meters, 16 European starters ages 6-8) timed in 1.12.3kr with Benjamin Rochard up.

Off at 4.1/1  odds the winner is trained by Daniel Wajersten for  SRF Stable and he won today for the first time  in France, advancing his career earnings  to 166,538€. The 7.3/1 Koala Blue (6g Thomas H. Hicks-Baltic Sea) landed second for driver David Thomain, trainer Louis Baudron and  owner Maxime  Guyon.  Hashtag Simoni (7f Orlando Vici-Tag’s Advocate) captured third  at 74/1oddswith Adrien  Lamy up for  Pure Islet AB   and trainer H.E.  Bondo.

At Aversa Cirigliani on February 14, 2026 Gandhi  Mail (4m Nad Al Sheba-Taylor EK-Varenne) took the Prix  Andreani (purse 25,300€, 2060 meters autostart, 10 starters open four year olds) with trainer Alessandro Gocciadoro  driving.

Race time was 1.13.0kr by this seven time winner of 69,210€. He was off the 2.21/1 odds favorite  and defeated 9.6/1 Gemma Capar (4f Exploit Caf-Sueia’Della  Luna-Ganymede) handled by Antonio Esposito, followed by 2.86/1  odds Gimmy Top (4m Readly Express-Melody del Rio-Varenne) with Vincenzo Gallo on the lines.

This upcoming weekend will feature the marathon distance Gr I Prix de  Paris (purse 400,000€, 4150 meters, ages 4-11 with 33 horses engaged) at historic Paris-Vincennes Hippodrome. Those horses engaged are listred below:
