Saint Galmier hosts 100,000€ Gr. III test

The veteran Copsi (10g L’Ocean d’Urfist-Selgie), off at 3.3/1, rallied to the lead for Dominik Locqueneux and then gamely held off 40/1 Drop de Duriez (9g Olimede) and driver Serge Peltier to win the Credit Agricole Loire (purse 100,000€, Gr. III for International 6-10 year olds) at Saint Galmier in France.

Copsi secured his 21^st career victory this day and advanced his life earnings to 458,300€. Third was 8.4/1 odds Eclat de Gloire (8g Tiego d’Etang) handled by Y.A. Briand for trainer Loris Garcia.
