Half-brother to Vivid Wise As a winner at Vincennes

Crown Wise As (5m Muscle Hill-Temple Blue Chip-Cantab Hall), the half-brother to Vivid Wise As (by Yankee Glide), scored in 1.11.6kr in his first start at Vincennes in France on Friday (Oct. 27). Nicolas Bazire teamed the Jean Michel Bazire trainee for Ecurie Andersen Racing AB.

The winner now has career earnings of 107,132€. He was off at 8.1/1 odds. The 26/1 Illico des Baux (5g Saxo de Vandel) was next for Eric Raffin and owner/trainer Sviatlana Taran. Third was 6.1/1 Indocile (5g Aladin d’Ecajeul) with Cedric Terry at the lines.

In the Gr. III Prix Pierre Van Troyen (purse 80,000€, 2700 meters, nine starters all four- to five-year-olds) the 2.1/1 odds Inato Pierji (5g Uniclove-Odyssee Pierji-Fleuron Perrine) was up in the last strides for victory timed in 1.14.1kr.

David Bekaert teamed the Alexandre Bonnefoy trainee for owner Eric Capuano. The winner now has 18 wins in 24 career starts for 324,130€ earned.

The 8/10 favorite Inexess Bleu (5g Vittel de Brevol) was second for Alexandre Abrivard and trainer L.C. Abrivard. Just A Midi (4m Captain Crazy) was third at 4.2/1 for Gabriele Gelormini driving for Fabrice Souloy.

In the Prix Olry-Roederer (Gr. III monte, purse 80,000€, 2850 meters, 11 starters all four-year olds) the 5/10 odds favorite Jazz In Montreux (4g Akim du Cap Vert-Urganza) scored very easily fir jockey Nathalie Henry, trainer Philippe Lemire and Ecurie La Pinsonniere. The winner now has eight career wins in 23 starts for 256,700€ earned.

Just In Back (4g Qunoa de Gers) was second for Eric Raffin at 3.1/1 odds and Jiri Pacha (4g Bilibili) landed fourth at 12/1 for jockey Alexandre Abrivard.
