The German invader Days Of Thunder (5m SJs Caviar-Donatella Comtesse-Donato Hanover) scored for driver Christoph Schwarz for Stall Holzapfel and Marcussen and trainer Robert Gramuller.
This was his second win in Hungary in as many starts. Race time was a sharp 1.13.1kr for the 3.5/1 odds second wagering choice. Second home was the 1.7/1 favorite Lozano Boko (5g Django Riff-Muscle Magic-Muscle Mass) reined and trained by Christoph Fischer for Benchmark Stable. Third to the line was Faith Trot (5f Readly Express-Dreamalittledream-Kadabra) piloted by Imre Fazekas for trainer Robert Gramuller and owner Prolongo VIII. Reckless (13m Ready Cash-Haver-Supergill) was fourth at 29/1 odds and driven by Peter Zedel.

On the undercard was the Hungaria DIJ (purse 4,000,000Huf, 2560 meters distance handicap, nine starters) with the 1.16.2kr timed victory earned by 3.1/1 odds Perfecto (4g Love You-Bright Light BR-Tritun Sund) that overcame a 40 meter handicap.
Christoph Schwarz teamed the Robert Gramuller trainee that Stall Online owns. This was his first start and win in HU. Second was the 27/1 odds Duc de Connee (10g Nauge de Lait-Noblesse d’Ize-Baccarat du Pont) reined by Sandor Varga with third to 3.4/1 Stan Getz A.T. (3g Hasard Lavec-Sophie Germain A.T.-Tony Oaks) with Peter Zadel Jr. driving for trainer Tomislav Visnjic from Serbia. Coach Degli Dei (5f Brillantissime-I=Une Fol Axe-Love You) was fourth for trainer/driver Goran Zolnaji and handicapped 60 meters.

The Istvan Szegedy Memorial (purse 12,000,000Huf, 1900 meters autostart, seven starters) saw 1.1/1 favorite Digital Races (6m Suoer Photo Kosmos-Paired-Scarlet Knight) score timed in 1.15.0kr for driver Imre Fazekas, trainer Bernadett Balogh and Prolongo III.
This was the second 2023 victory for Digital Races following three straight 2022 victories. Stefan Melander bred Digital Races that has a career speed badge of 1.11.9kr and over 18SEK million earned. The 3.9/1 odds Cardenas Baba (5f From Above-Ulan Balor Baba-Love You) was second for trainer/driver Horan Zolnaji. Third was Zante Font (8f Quaker Jet-Life Together-Uronometro) handled by her trainer Juhasz Balazs.

Before the regular program the two-year-old gelding Fliegauf (2g Owen CR-Nana-Tony Oaks) won a qualifier for trainer/driver Imre Fazekas and owner C’est la Guerre, the connections of the champion mare Nana.
