Decoloration (8f Prince d’Espace – Maradadi Buissonay) took the second leg of the Grand National du Trot Paris-Turf at Marseille, France (Gr. III, purse 85,000€, 3000 meters distance handicap, national 5-10 year olds) clocked in 1.12.4kr on Wednesday.
She overcame a 25-meter handicap to win for the 15th time in her harness racing career and boost her life earnings to 378,000€. She is owned by her trainer J.M. Baudouin and was off at 2/1 odds.
Second was 2.9/1 Eliot d’Ambri (7g Ti Punch River – Rivale du Rolais) for Alexandre Abrivard. Firello (6m Goetmals Wood – Sirella) was third at 6.5/1 odds with Nicolas Bazire up for trainer Jean Michel Bazire. Fourth was 6.2/1 Gamble River (5m Un Mec d’Heripre – Olga de la Grenne) with Gabriele Gelormini up for trainer Sebastien Guarato up for breeder/owner Gerard Manzi.

On the same card was the Prix de Cavaillon (purse 20,000€, 2300 meters autostart, LeTrot Open des Regions Sud-Est for three year-olds) and 5,5/1 odds Idylle Darling (3f Goetmals Wood – Rapid Darling) scored in 1.15.4kr. David Bekaert teamed the winner for trainer J.A. Hernandez-Navarro and owner Jean Pierre Dubois. She won for the second time in her brief career now for 16,050€ earned.
The 51/1 outsider Ishtar Font (3f Boccador de Simm – Urania Bourbon) was second with Filippo Rocca aboard for trainer Fausto Barelli. Third was 7.8/1 Indeskaya Bird (3f Scipion du Goutier) for owner/trainer/driver Edouard Goubard-Meunier.
