80,000€ Prix de la Ville de Caen to Delfino

Delfino (9m Speedy Blue-Miss Volo), off at 4/1 odds, easily overcame a 25 meter handicap to win the Prix de la Ville de Caen (purse 80,000€, 4400 meters distance handicap, Gr. III) timed in 1.14.4kr with trainer Mathieu Mottier aboard for owner/breeder D.M. Mottier.

This was the winners’ 15^th career victory now for 578,800€ earned. Fakir du Lorault (7m Vaillant Cash) was second for Francois Lecanu at 13/1 odds and facing a 50 meter handicap.  Divine Monceau (9f Uniclove) was third for Francois Lagadeuc also at 12/1 odds.

The Tour Europeen de Trotteur Freancais is now complete with Eclat de Gloire (8g Tiego d’Etang) the leading point winner. Loris Garcia trains and drove the winner that was not worse than second in the four-race series held in Belgium, Spain, Germany and Switzerland.
