400,000€ Prix de Paris won in track record clocking

Diable de Vauvert (9m Prince d’Espace-Pop Star) rallied on the tarmac side of the harness racing track to score by a neck in 1.13.3kr in the Gr. I International Prix de Paris (purse 400,000€, 4150 meters) at Vincennes.

Tony LeBeller was the pilot of this 4/1 odds winner that Bertrand LeBeller trains for Ecurie de Vauvert.

This was the winner’s 14^th career victory for 965,690€ earned. The time shows 1.13.3, is the new record for the race. The winner paid €10.40.

The 6.6/1 Etonnant (8m Timoko-Migraine) was a game second for Anthony Barrier and trainer/owner Richard Westerink. Galius (6m Love You-Star de Villeneuve) off at 2.9/1 odds set the pace much of the way and ended third for reinsman Yoann Lebourgeous and breeder/trainer/owner Severine Raimond.

Ampia Mede SM (6m Ganymede) was fourth at 1.4/1 favorite odds for Franck Nivard ahead of 49/1 Chica de Joudes (10f Jag de Bellouet) and Alain Laurent. Fric du Chene and Davidson du Pont completed the top seven.

There were three miscue dq’s including Flamme du Goutiier.
