October 16, 2015 – Erik Adielsson teamed the Svante Bath trainee Echauffour U.S. (3m Donato Hanover-Bourbon Dream-Pearsall Hanover) to victory in tonight’s featured Anders Kilstroms Final at Bollnas with 100,000SEK to the winner in the 2140 meters distance handicap event.
The winner, bred by J-P Dubois’ Ecurie Reve Avec Moi, record his second straight win with this1.15.7kr score.
Adielsson moved early to gain advantage and led the rest of the way as 1.3/1 favorite for a length win over Spring Chicken (4f From Above-Miss Queen) driven by Ulf Eriksson and Taffy (3m Jacose-Karamella-Mack Lobell) handled by Ulf Ohlsson. Capulus Horses KB owns the winner.
Earlier in the week at Axevalla there were several interesting winners, namely the Jerry Riordan trainee Tetraone Jet (4m Pine Chip-Sovrana Jet-Sharif di Jesolo) piloted by Christoffer Eriksson, Fleetfoot Hanover (8f Andover Hall-Firefly Annie-SJ’s Photo) for Peter Untersteiner, Readly Express (3m Ready Cash-Caddie Dream-Viking Kronos) for Jorma Kontio driving for Timo Nurmos and Diamond River (4f Ready Cash-First Out-Lemon Dra) with Stefan Soderkvist aboard.
It was reported that last Friday trainer Stefan Hultman suffered a heart attack. The well-regarded trainer from Sweden had captured the Elitloppet with From Above and the Prix d’Amerique with Maharajah. Hultman is hospitalized. He started Tobin Kronos in last Sunday’s Italian Derby in Rome and finished fourth.
