Ecurie Hunter Valley doubles at Vincennes

Ecurie Hunter Valley harness racing colts won a pair today (April 30) at Paris-Vincennes with new trainer Sebastien Guarato taking charge effective April 20.

The 3.1/1 odds Light My Fire (3m Ready Cash-Reethi Rah Jet), a brother to Bold Eagle, won the Prix Libussa (purse 62,000€, 2700 meters, 10 starters all three-year-olds) timed in 1.15.3kr. Franck Nivard teamed the winner to his third career victory in eight starts now for 59,775€ earned.

The Ecurie Hunter Valley bred colt defeated 2,2/1 favorite Leonardo Vici (3m Falcao de Laurma) reined by Theo Duvaldestin for Ecurie Match and trainer Thierry Duvaldestin. Lobbing de Blary (3m Gu d’Heripre) was third for Paul Philippe Ploquin at 9/1 odds with Bartrand Le Beller the conditioner.,

In the Prix Harmonia (monte, purse 40,000€, 2700 meters, 12 four-year-olds starters) the Ecurie Hunter Valley bred and owned King Stallion (4m Ready Cash-Cara Mia Wood) scored at 7.3/1 odds with Benjamin Rochard in the irons for trainer Guarato.

This was the winner’s second win in 15 starts now for 40,300€ earned. Kingalo du Chene (4g Singalo) was next at 4.2/1 with Paul Philippe Ploquin the jockey for trainer Julien Le Mer and owner/breeder Yvonne Guedj. Third was 22/1 Kyo Ferfay (4g Tonkin de Bellouet) with Romain Marty the jockey for trainer J.R. Declerq,
