Elie de Beafor snags 120,000€ Grand Prix de Conseil Municipal

Racing today (July 9) at Vichy, France featured the Gr. II Grand Prix de Conseil Municipal (purse 120,000€, 2950 meters distance handicap, 4-10 year olds) and the 3/10 favorite Elie de Beaufor (8g Royal Dream-Pignata) scored in 1.13.5kr with Jean Michel Bazire at the lines of his trainee for owner Eric Levallois.

He overcame a 25-meter handicap to record his 27^th career victory now for 764,500€ earned.

The 7.8/1 Echo de Chanlecy (8g Quinoa du Gers) was second for reinsman Tony Le Beller and owner/trainer E.G. Blot. 7/1 Diable de Caponet (9g Korean) was third for Alexandre Abrivard. Freyja du Pont, Victor Ferm and Tjacko Zaz completed the top six.
