Epic Kronos wins Prix Tenor de Baune

Today’s Prix Tenor de Baune (Gr I International, Amerique Races Q4, purse  240,000€, 2700 meters, 17 starters age five) at  Paris-Vincennes  produced an Amerique ticket for 5.6/1 odds Epic Kronos (5m Muscle Hill-Firely) timed in 1.11.2kr over a rain soaked course at Paris-Vincennes.

Paul Philippe Ploquin engineered a front trotting score from the halfway point for the winner that Daniel Reden trains for Stall Zet. This was Epic Kronos’ second win in three starts in France and it advanced his career earnings to 640,534€.

The 5.4/1 Immortal Doc (5m Brillantissime-Nikita Broline) was second with Jean Michel Bazire driving the Fredrik Wallin trainee that Wallin owns. Third was 20/1 Executiv EK (5m Face Time Bourbon-Nike EK) with trainer Alessandro Gocciadoro up for Scuderia Pink and Black.

The next tywo to  the line were Krack Time Atout (5m Face Time Bourbon) for driver Franck Nivard and Kamehameha (5m Unicolve) for Antoine L’Herete.
