Franck Nivard teamed the Tomas Malmqvist trainee for Stall Panamera Racing that is from the Lou Guida family of Lisa America. The winner now has eight wins in 35 starts in FR for career earnings of 605,815€. He was off at 3/1 odds and defeated second finishing Gamay de L’Iton (7m Bird Parker-Story de L’Iton) at 1.8/1 odds that Francois Lagadeuc drove for trainer Hugues Levesque and Ecurie de L’Iton. The 3.9/1 Happy Valley (6f Royal Dream-Mysterious Valley-Goetmals Wood) was third for Jean Philippe Dubois and trainer Philippe Moulin for Ecurie Victoria Dream. Happy Valley is engaged to the Prix de Bretagne on Sunday, the first of the Amerique qualifiers.
Also at Vincennes this week the 3.2/1 Lovely Trip (2m Follow You-Alexia-Prodigious) took the Prix Siwa (purse 33,000€, 2850 meters, 12 two-year-old starters) timed in 1.16.5kr with owner/trainer Julien Dubois at the lines. This was his first career win in three appearances. Lazer de Passieu (2m Celebrissime) was second at 24/1 odds with Paul Philippe Ploquin aboard. Loui Cadence (2m Password) was home third at 27/1 for trainer/driver Guillaume Roig-Belaguer.
As stated on Sunday is the Prix de Bretagne (Gr II International, purse 120,000€, 2700 meters, 21 horses engaged with starters to be named on Thursday). The Sunday card also has three other groupe events of great interest. On Saturday is the Prix de L’ile d’O;eron, a Gr. III test for monte performers.
