Erica Jet, Epcot Bi take Criterium tests at Napoli

Two-year-olds contested the Premio Criterium events in Napoli, Italy, one for females and one for males.

Each carried a purse of 34,100€ and was raced over the 1600 meters autostart course.

The female division went to 1.14.5kr timed and 2.3/1 odds Erica Jet (2f Maharajah-Zehra d’Ete-Donato Hanover) reined by Roberto Vecchione for trainer Holger Ehlert and owner Jean Pierre Barjon. Eleta Star (2f Napoleon Bar) was second for F.I. Gallo.

In the male division the 3.3/1 odds Epcot Bi (2m Manofmanymissions-Themis del Ronci-Cantab Hall) scored timed in 1.14.3kr for driver Antonio Simioli, He defeated Encierro (2m Tobin Kronos-Olvera-Korean).
