Harness racing driver and trainer, Jean Michel Bazire, won his 6.000th driving victory on November 3rd reining his trainee Jourdam Seven (2m Bird Parker-Amadea Seven) in the Prix des Chematites (purse 32,000€, 2200 meters, two year olds).
Jourdam Seven now has two career wins in four starts. Bazire has 51 Groupe I victory’s in his career among 346 total Groupe wins.
Bazire has won four Prix d’Amerique’s (Kesaco Phedo, Belina Joselyn, Up And Quick, Moni Maker). In addition, he has 472 monte wins.
The previous day at Jagersro, Sweden, the emerging Tetrick Wania (2m Muscle Hill-Random Destiny-Ken Warkentin) scored in 1.12.8 over 1640 meters autostart in race with 100,000SEWK to the winner.
This half brother to Walner (by Chapter Seven) was reined by his trainer/owner Riina Rekila to his fourth straight victory in six career starts.
It was announced this week that the 2022 stud fee for Walner will be US$30,000.
