Victory went to 0.32/1 favorite Explosive de Vie (5g Explosive Matter-Ava-Pine Chip) with owner/trainer Jim Oscarsson up. Timed in 1.14.3kr, the winner bested 8/1 Sylvester America (5g Varenne-Armbro Voice-Garland Lobell) handled by Carl Johan Jepson for Riordan Stables and trainer Jerry Riordan. The Lou Guida bred Italian campaigner was ahead of third finishing 2.6/1 Scellino Luis (5g Andover Hall-Susy Trio-Indro Park) with Erik Adielsson up for legendary trainer Stig H. Johansson.

Other Solvalla action included the Solvallaserien VI for four year-olds worth 100,000SEW to the winner and contested over 2140 meters autostart. The 1.12.1kr winner was 0.49/1 favorite Uncle Lasse (4m Donato Hanover-Solveig-Yankee Glide). This Stefan Melander owned/trained colt was driven by Orjan Kihlstrom and he recorded his fourth 2016 win in eight starts, with three second place finishes, now for 2016 earnings of 1,608,500SEK  and 4,491,830SEK lifetime. The off the board contestants included 13.6/1 French Laundry and 3/1 Twister Bi.

The Malin Bromans for 100,000SEK to the winner, over 2140 meters autostart, went to the impressive 1.2/1 favorite Genta (3f Gentleman-Egyptian Super Sun-Super Arnie) with trainer Bjorn Goop up. This filly remains undefeated in three starts, all in 2016, with the 1.15.4kr victory. Her sire, Gentleman, is a son of Gentle Star-Arline’s Dream-Mystic Park. 10.7/1 Geisha Boko (3f Zola Boko-Billy Jean Boko-Viking Kronos) was next for Kenneth Haugstad and third was 48.5/1 Devon AM (3f Raja Mirchi-My Love di Quattro-Love You) with trainer Bjorn Rocklinger driving. Earlie,r the Gay Noons (100,000SEK to winner, 2140 meters autostart) went to 4/5 favorite Mellby Emeralds (3g Muscle Hill-Mellby Robin-Pine Chip) timed in 1.13.4kr for reinsman Ulf Ohlsson and trainer Reijo Lilyendahl. New Lexington (3m Infinitif-Night Own-Yankee Glide) was second for Christoffer Eriksson and trainer Conrad Lugauer. 22.7/1 On The Line (3g Up Front Larry-La Vici-Orlando Vici) took third for trainer/driver Markus Svedberg.

Mares battled mid-program in a 60,000SEK first money event over 1640 meters autostart. 6.4/1 Alvena Take It (6f Make It Happen-Impulsive-Mack Lobell) scored in a sharp 1.11.2kr with trainer Peter Untersteiner at the lines. 8.1/1 Ski To The Max (5f Conway Hall-Enjoy The Sun-Enjoy Lavec) was second for trainer Melander and teamster Per Lennartsson.
