The winner’s purse share was 172,000€ and the winner was clocked in 1.12.3kr over the 2640 meters autostart distance. There were 12 four year old starters.

Off at 1.53/1 odds the favorite was handled by Bjorn Goop for trainer Timo Nurmos and owner Stall SoFo as he scored for the ninth time in 12 career appearances and he is three for four in ’24. This is a long flat going stallion with a future on track and in the breeding shed.

Today he defeated 5.2/1 Epic Kronos (4m Muscle Hill-Firefly-Ready Cash) with Orjan Kihlstrom aboard the Daniel Reden trainee with third to 18.8/1 Global Etalon (4m Brillantissime-Devilish Yankee-Yankee Glide). The 23.9/1 Macahar (4m Maharajah) and 10.6/1 Kuiper (4m Face Time Bourbon) completed the top five.

In the Svenskt Derbystoet (Gr. I National, purse to winner 86,000€, 2140 meters autostart, 12 four year old female starters) the 2.74/1 Daim Brodde (4f Readly Express-Dancing In The Hall-Cantab Hall) scored in 1.11.9kr easily for driver Eirik Hoitomt, trainer Thor Borg and Stall Tonga Racing AB. This was the winner’s eighth career victory in 10 starts and she is six for nine this year.

Dial Square (4f Ready Cash-Eileen Boko-Muscle Hill) was second with Magnus A. Djuse at the lines for trainer Mattias Djuse who also conditions the third place finisher 3.7/1 Knickers Sisu (4f Southwind Frank-Favorite Parts-Donato Hanover). Mats E. Djuse reined this one.
