Fantastica Doda, Far West Bi triumph at Napoli

Harness racing three year olds were on stage today at Napoli for the Gran Premio Citta’ di Napoli filly and colt divisions. The filly division (purse total 66,000€, 1600 meters autostart) saw 6.8/1 odds Fantastica Doda (3f Maharajah-Venere Degli Dei-Mago d’Amore) score in a sharp 1.11.8kr with Santo Mollo on the reins.  She now shows 96,136€ earned. Fisic du Rol (3f Maharajah-Tenerife-Exploit Caf) was second with Roberto Vecchione up at 5.3/1 with 64.1/1 odds Faherge’ Regal (3f Telecomando OK) third with Giorgio d’Alassandro Sr. aboard. Fenice del Ronco was fourth. There were many breakers including the 2.2/1 favorite Fan Idoie WF.

In the male division (purse total 154,000€, 2100 meters autostart) the 9/1 odds Far West Bi (3m Muscle Hill-Savannah Bi) scored timed in 1.12.0kr for the Roberto Vecchione/Holger Ehlert/Az Agr Biasuzzi Srl team. With the victory Far West BI shows 101,165€ earned. The 1.3/1 odds favorite Falco Killer Gar (3m Varenne-Zuware Gar-Maharajah) was second for Alessandro Gocciadoro the trainer/driver. Fortunadrago Font (3m Quite Easy-Onice Font-Coktail Jet) was third with Enrico Bellei aboard. Fil EK (3m Ringostarr Treb-Ukase EK) was fourth at 3.4/1 for reinsman Pietro Gubellini.
