Fire Cracker wins monte feature at Vincennes

Fire Cracker (7g Quaro-Urganza) off at 2.6/1 odds, captured Friday’s Vincennes harness racing featured Gr. III monte Prix Guillaume de Bellaigue (purse 90,000€, 2700 meters, International 6-10 year olds).

Anthony Barrier was the winning jockey for trainer A.H. Robin and owner Ecurie La Pinsonniere. This was his 19th career victory and advanced his earnings to 713,940€.

The 3.3/1 Clegs des Champs (10g Legs du Clos) took second for jockey David Thomain and trainer Thierry Raffegeau, with third to 1.1/1 favorite Freeman de Houelle (7m Vigove) with Eric Raffin in the irons for trainer Franc Leblanc.

On May 18 at Vincennes the 2.9/1 Decoloration (9f Prince d;Espace-Maradidi Buissonay) scored in the Gr. III Prix du Gatinais (purse 90,000€, 2850 meters, European 7-10 year olds) rimed in 1.12.5kr.  Gabriele Gelormini was her pilot for trainer J.M.  Baudouin as the winner secured her 18th career victory now for 555,660€ earned.

The 44/1 outsider Elite de Jiel (8f Niky) was second for reinsman Francois Lagadeuc with third to 13/1 odds Victor Ferm (8m Nad Al Sheba) for Christophe Martens. Decoloration

In the Gr. III Prix du Perreux (purse 90,000€, 2700 meters, European 5-6 year olds) the 8/1 odds Haribo du Loisir (5m Rodrigo Jet-Chaiha du Citrus) scored in 1.12.4kr with Leo Abrivard at the lines. The L.C. Abrivard trainee now has six career wins for 238,340€ earned.

Goeland d’Haifor (6g Voltigeur de Myrt) was second for Ch. J. Bigeon and owner/trainer/breeder Christian Bigeon. Home third was even-money favorite Hades de Vandel (5m Ganymede) for Robin Bakker and trainer Paul Hagoort.
