Flash de Biwetz and Elixir were fourth and fifth.
In the Prix Salam (monte, purse 71,000€, 2700 meters, 10 starters ages 5-6) the 2.2/1 odds favorite Janzibar (6g Dollar Macker-Adrienne du Citrus) scored by open lengths timed in 1.12.6kr. Alexandre Abrivard was the winning jockey for trainer Laurent C. Abrivard and owner/breeder Jean Pierre Barjon. Janzibar now has nine career wins in 29 starts for 212,310€ earned. The 2.5/1 second choice Kalmia Perrine (5f Django Riff-Unabella Perrine) landed the second spot with Mathieu Mottier aboard the Thierry Duvaldestin trainee that Courant AB owns.
