Francesco Zet wins at Aby

Superb racing took place this day at Aby, Sweden highlighted by the Gr. I International King Gustaf (1,000,000SEK first prize, 2140 meters autostart, 12 four-year-old male starters) and the 1.4/1 odds favorite Francesco Zet (4m Father Patrick-Shaqline-Credit Winner) scored in 1.12kr for pilot Orjan Kihlstrom and trainer Daniel Reden.

This was his 10th career win in 12 starts for 7,775,000SEK in life earnings. Power Doc (4m Muscle Massive) was second for trainer/driver Ake Lindblom at 204/1 with third to 20/1 Aquarius Face (4m Mosaique Face) third for trainer/driver Adrian Kolgjini.

On the same card Chebba Mil (4f Readly Express-Sunshine Bi-Varenne) won the Drottning Silvias Pokal (Gr. I International for four-year-old mares, purse 1,000,000SEL first prize, 2140 meters autostart, 12 starters) timed in 1.11.7kr.

This Paul Hagoort trainee was reined by Robin Bakker to her seventh career victory in 10 starts, now for 1,197,181SEK earned. Victoria Park Stable owns this 4.2/1 odds winner that was bred in Ita.

She defeated 7.7/1 Deborah S.H. (4f Maharajah) handled by trainer Fredrik Persson with third to 4.2/1 Glamorous Rain (4f Muscle Hill) for the Kihlstrom/Reden team.

Later on the card, Honey Mearas (5f Readly Express-Khao Monee-Muscles Yankee) took the Lovely Godiva Minne (250,000SEK to the winner, 2140 meters autostart, 12 starters, five year old mares) timed in 1.11.8kr, her 12th career victory in 24 starts for 6,721,000SEK earned. Orjan Kihlstrom teamed the Daniel Reden trainee that was off at 2.8/1.

Sayonara (5f Donato Hanover) was second for Carl Johan Jepson at 7/1 odds and third was Florist (5f Wellino Boko) for Kevin Oscarsson.
