Fulton takes Gr III Prix Georges Dreux

A fine trots harness racing program was on stage this day at Paris-Vincennes led by the Gr. III International Prix Georges Dreux, a monte event with eight starters vying for the 90,000€ purse. The 6-11 year old starters raced 2850 meters voltstart with the 1.12.4kr timed victory to 4.1/1 odds Fulton (9g Royal Dream-Pivoine).

Damien Bonne was the winning jockey for Ecurie des Charmes and trainer Jean Michel Bazire, as Fulton won for the 19 th time in 89 starts for 732,740€ earned. Extreme Desbois (10g Tornado Bello) was second for Clement Frecelle and trainer/owner Benjamin Goetz at 3.7/1 odds.

Filwell (9g Qwerty) was third at 5.8/1 odds with Camille Levesque in thew irons for owner/breeder/trainer Pierre Levesque.

On the undercard was the Prix Clermont-Ferrand (purse 56,000€, 2100 meters autostart, 10 European starters ages 7-8 years).

The 5/10 odds favorite Halo AM (7m Father Patrick-Honey Face) scored in 1.12.6kr for his fourth victory in 14 starts in France.

He has earned 184,860€ and today was reined by Yoann Lebourgeois for trainer Dominik Locqueneux and owner Gerrits Recycling BV. The 35/1 odds outsider Hermex d’Ecroville (7g Tag Wood) was second for trainer/driver Bruno Marie with 14/1 Sidney Celeber (7g Readly Express) third for Gabriele Gelormini and trainer H.E. Bondo.

The Prix d’Ancenis (purse 68,000€, 2850 meters, nine European starters ages 7-11) saw 1.1/1 odds favorite Global Agreement (8g Love You-Muskot) score timed in 1.13.5kr with Gabriele Gelormini aboard for trainer Alessandro Gocciadoro.

The winner extended his winning streak, he now has seven wins in seven starts in France and career earnings of 280,549€. Six of his victories have been in ’24. Headscott (7g Village Mystic) was second for Yoann Lebourgeaois and trainer Alain Chavatte at 2.8/1 odds.

The 4.2/1 Bitcoind’Arc (7g Voltigeur de Myrt) took third with Eric Raffin at the lines for trainer H.E. Bondo.
