Big upset at 44-1 in co-feature at Vincennes

Ganay de Banville (8m Jasmin de Flore-Anais de Banville-Quaker Jet) out fought rivals and then drew clear nearing the line to win in 1.12.9kr for harness racing trainer/driver Jean Michel Bazire in the Prix Jean Riaud at Paris Vincennes.

Thus Gr. III test was raced over 2850 meters for a 90,000€ purse by a 15 horse International field of 5–11-year-olds. Ecurie Valliere Racing owns this 15-time career winner in 50 starts for 684,890€ earned that was off as the 1.8/1 odds favorite.

Eric The Eel (8m Muscle Hill) was second at 9/1 for Eric Raffin and trainer H.E. Bondo. Elvis du Vallon (10m Reve de Beylev) was third at 9/1 for reinsman Yoann Lebourgeois and 35/1 Geisha Speed was fourth.

In the Gr. III Prix Caecilia/Tropiques (purse 70,000€, 2700 meters, 16 four-year olds) the 44/1 odds outsider Brothers In Arms (4m Fabulous Wood-Elusive Melody) rallied on the fan side to win in 1.13.1kr.

Sebastien Baude teamed the Ecurie des Charmes trotteur for trainer Fabrice Souloy. This was his first career win in 11 starts now for 137,524€ earned.

Kanto Avis (4m Ready Cash) was second at 9/1 with Benjamin Rochard teaming the Marc Sassier trainee. Kalmia Quick (4f Up And Quick) was third at 19/1 odds for trainer/driver Romain Derieux and Ecurie Quick Star. The 56/1 Kiara de Vandel (4f Charly du Noyer) was fourth for driver Leo Abrivard.
