Eric Raffin piloted this Jean Michel Baudouin owned and trained performer. Gaspar recorded his 12th career victory now for 338,160€ earned. Happy Valley (6f Royal Dream-Mysterious Valley) escaped an accident at top of stretch and finished second at 3.6/1 for Jean Philippe Dubois, trainer Philippe Moulin, and owner Ecurie Victoria Dreams. This one faced a 25-meter handicap as did third finishing Hip Hop Haufor (6m Up And Quick-Villa Haufor) at 3.6/1 odds with breeder/owner/trainer Christian Bigeon driving. Harlem de Bucy (6m Lilium Madrik) was fourth for Alexandre Abrivard, also handicapped 25 meters, and fifth home was Felix du Bourg (8m Quid de Chahains) for trainer/driver Bruno Marie.
On the same card was the Prix ZeTurf (purse 30,000€, 2825 meters for European 7-9 year olds, 16 starters) went to the impressive 16/1 odds Gaultheria (7f Bold Eagle-Glorina du Citrus) timed in 1.12.2kr. Eric Raffin teamed the winner for trainer Luc Roelens and H&S Development BV. The winning mare, now a five time career winner of 189,660€, was bred by Jean Etienne Dubois and she defeated 5.2/1 Follow Dream (8g Royal Dream-Vita Dream) handled by Benjamin Rochard for trainer Patrick Henry and Ecurie Oasis, This one was bred by Jean Philippe Dubois.
In the previous day at Paris-Vincennes three year olds were on stage, first in the Prix Coronis (purse 62,000€, 2700 meters for European three year old males). Here the 5.7/1 odds Kiss Atout (3m Saxo du Vandel-Chipie d’Atout) scored in 1.14.9kr to record his fourth career victory for 59,400€ earned. Clement Duvaldestin reined the winner for trainer Thierry Duvaldestin. The 33/1 Koul des Champs (3m Offshore Dream) rallied for second for Yoann Lebourgeois and trainer Alexis Prat. Third was 15/1 Keep Going (3m Follow You-Discovery Bond) with Franck Nivard up for trainer Loris Garcia.
The Prix Marcel Perlbard (purse 62,000€, 2700 meters, European three year olds females) brought our a nice field of fillies with the victory going to 4.6/1 Rikita JP (3f Mister JP-Noblesse du Corta) reined by her trainer Matthieu Abrivard for Sandrine Robert. This was her first win in France and advanced her life earnings to 51,380€. Race time was a modest 1.16.3kr. Kaguya Jiel (3f Rancho Gede-Varouska Jiel) was sedond at 7.8/1 for driver P.Y. Verva and trainer J.L. Dersoir. Ever Wise As (3f Nuncio) took third for Alexandre Abrivard at 13/1 odds.
