Gaspar d’Angis takes Gr. III Prix des Cevennes

Gaspar d’Angis (8g Quaro-Reveuse d’Angis) with Eric Raffin aboard easily took today’s Gr. III Prix des Cevennes (purse 90,000€, 2850 meters, 11 European starters ages 6-10) at Paris-Vincennes timed in 1.12.4kr.

J.M. Baudouin trains and owns the 19 time career winner of 754,860€ that J.Cl. Lahouche bred.

Oracle Tile (8m Ready Cash-Exotic Sund) was a close second at 8.6/1 odds with Benjamin Rochard driving the Kristian Malmin trainee for Stall Ready To Win of Norway.

Ganay de Banville (8m Jasmin de Flore-Anais de Banville), the 1.5/1 favorite, was third with Jean Michel Bazire driving for Ecurie Valliere Racing and trainer Nicolas Bazire. The 30/1 Inmarosa (6f Amiral Sacha) with Leo Abrivard up and 4.1/1 Hokkaido Jiel (7m Brillantissime) handled by David Thomain completed the top five toi the line.

On the undercard the Prix de Soulac (purse 68,000€, 2700 meters, 16 European starters) went to 1.12.9kr timed and 4.6/1 odds Hulysse Digeo (7g Reve de Beylev-Nuit d’Odyssee) with owner/trainer J.W. Hallais driving. The 10 time career winner has earned 300,140€. Harry Carisaie (7g Viking de Val) was second at 9/1 for driver Eric Raffin and trainer/owner J.Et. Thuet. Gipsy de Chamant (8f Quaro) took third at 3.4/1 odds with Alexandre Abrivard up for P-Y Verva.

In the Prix du Dorat (purse 71,000€, 2700 meters, 13 starters) the 9/1 odds Ilusion Jipad (6f Boccador de Simm-Toutoune Jipad) rallied to victory timed in 1.12.5kr with legendary Jean Michel Bazire driving for owner/trainer Pascal Lelievre. The JMB charge won for the sixth time and advanced her career earnings to 289,938€. Indigo Pierji (6g Django Reiff-Vera Pierji) was a game second at 9/1 for Paul Philippe Ploquin and trainer Gregory Thorel for owner Ecurie Marechal. Impala de Val (6g Viking de Val) captured third money as the 1.5/1 odds favorite driven by Benjamin Rochard for P. Edouard Mary. The 7.8/1 Ilaya (6g Rodrigo Jet) was third for driver Yoann Lebourgeois.
