Gatling wins STL Silver at Aby

The Aby STL Silver (purse to winner 150,000SEK, 1640 meters autostart, 12 starters) saw 4.67/1 Gatling (6g Charly du Noyer-Jadella-Muscles Yankee) prevail when a passing lane rival went offstride.

Bjorn Goop drove and trains the winner for Onkel Invest Oy (Finland) as he scored coast to coast timed in 1.11.8kr for his 11th career win in 41 starts. DF.J. Spritz (6m Igor Font-Uppupa Spritz-Equinox Bi) was second at 22.4/1 with Gustav Johansson driving for trainer Jerry Riordan and third homne was 21.7/1 Call Me Gleipner (5m Explosive Matter-Gleipner-Ready Cash) with Jonas M. Oscarsson at the lines for trainer Johan Untersteiner

On the undercard was the STL Dubbelklasslop (purse to winner 150,000SEK, 2140 meters voltstart, 12 starters) where Dats Tore (5g Fourth Dimension-Conrads R Gur Fein-Cantab Hall) scored at 5.1/1 odds timed in 1.12.8kr. Magnus A. Djuse teamed the Eric Martinnson trainee to his seventh career victory in 31 starts.

He defeated 11.7/1 Four Guys Dream (9g Dream Vacation) and 70.1/1 Cayucos (10g Love You).  Also on the card was the STL Stodivisionen (purse to winner 125,000SEK, 2140 meters voltstart, 15 starters) where 8.7/ Victoria LL (6f From Above) scored in 1.13.3kr with Victor Rosleff driving for Ola Karlsson ahead of 15.2/1 Dats Summertime (4g Earl Simon-Conrads R Gur Fein-Cantab Hall) with Carl Johan Jepson driving.

As we closer to the Eliloppet in May there are now four invite recipients – Go On Boy, Logan Park, Borup’s Victory and Australia’s Locomotive.
