Gigolo Lover takes Gr II Prix Reynolds at Vincennes

Gigolo Lover (7g Royal Lover-Rosalie Moubaz) staged a lengthy stretch rally to win the Gr. II monte Prix Reynolds (International, 2175 meters voltstart, purse 120,000€, 10 starters) at 1.2/1 odds with Alexandre Abrivard the jockey for trainer Jean Michel Bazire and Ecurie Moureaux As.

The winner recorded his 17th career victory in 59 starts for 515,860€ earned. Happy And Lucky (6f Ready Cash-Tosalima) was a game second for Adrian Lamy and trainer Franck Leblanc at 20/1. Fulton (8g Royal Dream-Pivione) was third for jockey Eric Raffin, trainer JMB and owner Ecurie des Charmes. He was off at 3.6/1 odds.

On the undercard was the Prix d’Arcachon (purse 75,000€, 2100 meters autostart, 16 starters all 7–10-year-olds) with victory to 2.1/1 odds Face Time (8g Coktail Jet-Netchka d’Orgeres) timed in a quick 1.10.4kr (fractions 1.06.7kr at 1500 meters to go; 1.09.1kr with 1000 remaining and 1.10.6kr at the 500 mark). Face Time was reined by trainer Matthieu Abrivard for JPB Horses. Face Time now has 18 career wins in 56 starts for 391,110€ earned. Galileo Bello (7m Aladin d’Ecajeul-Auro des Jacquets) captured second at 2.8/1 with Gabriel Gelormini driving for trainer A.F. Donati-Marcellac. The 46/1 Flaya Kalouma (8f Royal Dream-Nelinotte du Rib) was third handled by trainer Gabriel Angel Pou Pou.
