Upset winner in Trophee Vert 7th Leg

The 11/1 odds outsider Glamour Eagle (7bg Bold Eagle-Une Passion d’Ar) set the pace and drew off in the lane to win the seventh leg of the Trophee Vert series, this named the Grand Pric Montlucon Communaute Vielle Ville at Montlucon Neris led Bains.

The 3000-meter distance handicapped event carried a 50,000€ purse and the winner, reined by Philippe Gaillard, also the trainer, won for the eighth time in his career. This Patricia Sevigny owned trotteur now has life earnings of 190,158€.

Glamour Eagle wins in a romp

Race time was not reported, Filae de Soyora (8f Prodigious) was second driven by Quentin Chauve-Laffay and off at 27/1. Galet Sted (7g Paris Haufor) was third at 3.4/1 and overcame a 25-meter handicap with Anthony Barrier driving for trainer C.A. Mary. Hostra and the 50-meter handicapped Filou d’Anjou completed the top five to the line.
