Global Agreement wins again for AG

At Lyon A La Soie in France (April 10) the Prix de Nantes (purse 34,000€, 2050 meters autostart, 11 European starters ages 6-11) went to the 8/10 favorite Global Agreement (8g Love You-Muskot) with Gabriele Gelormini driving, He was timed in 1.12.9kr, advancing his life earnings to over 196,000€.

Global Agreement is now four for four in France and six for six under the training of Alessandro Gocciadoro. The front stepper defeated 13/1 odds Gai Matin (8g Rieussec) with David Bekaert aboard for owner/trainer Guillaume Gillot. Third was 6.5/1 Cointreau (8m Nad Al Sheba) that Benjamin Rochard reined for owner Samuele Querci and trainer Gocciadoro (AG).

At Modena in Italy (April 9) the Premio Piemonte (purse 8250€, 2080 meters, three-year-olds) the impressive 3.5/1 odds Fuoco Degli Dei (3m Love You-Zeugma d’Amore-SJs Caviar) score on the front end for driver Marco Stefani.

He has two career wins with this 1.15.8kr timed victory. He rallied past 5.6/1 Faberge’ Bi (3m Oasis Bi-Anastacia Laksmy-Varenne) with third to 1.5/1 odds favorite Foley W Fior (3m Zacon Gio-Giada Winner-Unique Quick) from the Holger Ehlert training stable that Roberto Vecchione drove.

In other news, the great mare Ampia Mede SM, now trained by Thierry Duvaldestin, is now expected to return to the track in September.
