Global Agreement wins Prix de Sedan at Vincennes

Wednesday’s (Feb. 28) Prix de Sedan (purse 59,000€, 2100 meters autostart, 13 European trotteurs ages 7-11) went to the 2.1/1 odds favorite Global Agreement (8g Love You-Muskot) reined by trainer Alessandro Gocciadoro.

Global Agreement (on the pylons) just holds off Hamilton du Ham

The Glass & Bagar owned campaigner won his third straight in France and advanced his career earnings to 180,199€ with this 1.12.2lr timed victory. Hamilton du Ham (7g Rachmaninov Seven-Scarlet du Ham) was second at 3.7/1 odds with a furious late rally. Gabriele Gelormini drove this winner for owner/trainer Yannick Desmet. Third was 2.7/1 High Dream (9g Royal Dream-Vision Intense-Prodigious) for Julien Dubois the driver/trainer/owner. Global Agreement

Italy continued with another victory in the Prix de Monpazier (purse 52,000€, 2850 meters, 15 European four-year olds) as 4.8/1 Ernesto Roc (4m Face Time Bourbon-United Roc-Filipp Rpc) scored in 1.13.7kr. Gabriele Gelormini teamed the Fabrice Souloy trainee for SS Eisebio SNC.

This was Ernesto’s first win in France but he advanced career earnings to 73,958€. Edgar Saba (4g Exploit Caf) was second at 12/1 odds driven by Francois Lagadeuc for trainer H.E. Bondo and Vaporino Srl. The 11/1 Kharnas (4g Memphis de Rib) was third with Eric Raffin up for conditioner Gregory Thorel.

Tuesday at Nantes there were a pair of youngsters that were victorious. In the Prix Guepin (purse 15,000€, 2275 meters, nine three-year old starters) the 7.3/1 Littleton Landing (3f Sam Bourbon-Feline du Dollar) scored in 1.16.7kr in her first career start. She earned 6,750€ for owner Ecurie Landing. Thomas Ossum teamed this winner for trainer Louis Baudron.

In the Prix Opera (purse 21,000€, 3000 meters, 10 starters four-year-olds) the even-money favorite Koutbol (4m Earl Simon-Blue Pearl-Saxo de Vandel) scored for Theo Duvaldestin driving for breeder/owner/trainer Thierry Duvaldestin. He was timed today in 1.16.2kr as he won for the third time in four starts for 25,050€.Koutbol
