It has been reported that world renowned harness racing driver Björn Goop was involved in a spectacular crash at Ørebro Racetrack in Sweden on Thursday evening (Jan. 19).

After a collision he was thrown into the air and fell hard on the track. The Swedish driver went to the hospital himself after the incident to have an x-ray of his sore hand. He posted the pictures on social media on Friday, revealing a fracture of the triquetrum, a small bone in the wrist.
Goop said that he will need a few days of rest, but that his participation in the Prix d’Amérique on Sunday with Moni Viking (Maharajah), now under his responsibility, is not in question.
