Grand National du Trot series kicks off tomorrow

The famous Gr. III trotting series, the Grand National du Trot, kicks off tomorrow (Mar. 8) at Amiens as a field of 16 ages 6-10 face the starter in this 2900 meter distance handicapped event for a 90,000€ purse.

One of the potential favorites is I Love Me (5f Love You-Reedite Gede-Buvetier d’Aunou) that Tony Le Beller bred, trains and will drive for owner Florence Dreux. This mare has earned 262,850€ to date. Her dam was a favorite of mine that earned 490,280€ from 19 career victories with the guidance of trainer Thierry Duvaldestin. She won three of her last four career starts finishing that with a lifetime best 1.11.4kr when winning the Prix de Munich.
