Grand Prix de Salon de Provence to Gino Tosca

Today’s (Nov. 27) Gr. III Grand Prix de Salon de Provence (purse 64,000£, 3000 meters distance handicap, National 6-10 year olds) saw the 7/10 favorite and pacesetter Gino Tosca (6g Severino-Ma Toscani) hold off 4.5/1 Embleme Orange (8g Quillon du Chatelet) to win this featured harness racing event at Salon de Provence in France.

Steve Stefano teamed the winner for trainer J.M. Roubaud to secure his 16^th career victory now for 170,880£ earned. This was his sixth straight victory and seventh in his last eight outings.

The second finishing Embleme Orange was handed by trainer Junior Guelpa. Far back third was 13/1 odds Dark Side (9g Coktail Jet) with owner/trainer Nicolas Ensch at the lines.
