Granvillaise Bleue (7f Jag de Bellouet-Lady de Brevol) followed leading Freeman de Houelle and then Figaro de Larre before she vaulted to the front entering the lane in winning the Gr. III Prix Guillaume de Bellaigue at Vincennes in France on Friday (June 30).

She was off the 3/10 odds favorite and defeated 26/1 Fiesta de Froulay (8f Gazouillis-Lovette Jaugency) that had Guillaume Martin in the irons for owner/trainer Arnaud Desmottes. The 5.5/1 odds Figaro de Larre (8g Royal Dream-Tornade Mika) lasted for third handled by jockey Benjamin Rochard for trainer Sylvain Roger. Race time was a quick 1.11.9kr off even fractions.
On another issue affecting top rated FR bred trotteurs, the champion Etonnant has reportedly declined to visit The New Meadowlands in August, instead he will race in the Prix Washington at Enghien on July 15.
