On January 28, 2025 at Paris-Vincennes we saw Italy’s Colbert WF (7m Varenne-Trendy WF) at 9/1 odds took the Prix de Chateauoux (purse 46,000€, 2850 meters, 14 European starters age seven) timed in 1.13.7kr. This was his first win in FR and advanced his career earnings to 166,616€.
He was placed first when Igrisoni was a disqualification. Gabriele Gelormini reined this H.E. Bondo trainee for Scuderia My Horse Srl. Imhotep Fromentro (7g Carat Williams) was placed second with Paul Philippe Ploquin handling the Nicolas Raimbeaux trainee at 19/1 odds. Oscar Van Halbeek (7g The Bank) was placed third at 7.8/1odds with Franck Ouvrie aboard for trainer/owner Suzanne Lavigne.

In the Prix de Chateaubriant (purse 38,000€, 2200 meters, 13 three year old starters) the 2.9/1 My Princess (3f Ready Cash-Reine Magic) scored easily timed in 1.15.4kr with Mathieu Mottier the trainer driver for owner D.M. Mottier. This was her first career win in three starts for 27,100€ earned.
Malice Speed (3f Hohneck) was second at 32/1 with trainer F.P. Boussuet aboard and 1.7/1 favorite Madrid Haufor (3f Real de Lou) rallied for third with Alexandre Abrivard driving for Christian Bigeon, the trainer/owner/breeder.

Trainer Alessandro Gocciadoro reined the Chelsea Srls owned stallion that won in his first start in FR and increased his career earnings to 52,106€.
Legacy Jiel (4m Face Time Bourbon-Trinity Jiel) was second at 7.5/1 odds driven by Franck Ouvrie for Ecurie Luck and J.L, Dersoir. Italy’s Fergus del Ronco (4m Manofmanymissions) was third at 4.6/1 odds with Jean Michel Bazire driving for owner Marco Castaldo and trainer Antonio Simioli,

It was also reported that Italy’s Alrajah One has return to the racetrack in Italy when a won a trial at Milano San Siro for new trainer Mauro Baroncini and driver Marco Stefano. He is expected to race May 5th in the Lotteria at Napoli.
Jushua Tree (6m Bold Eagle-Ma Sissi James-Buvetier d’Aunou) enters stud in 2025 at Haras du Mont Goubert with 15,000€ total stud fee. He has enjoyed an exciting successful career for Ecurie Olmenhof and the Bazire training stable.
