Great trotting action was on stage this day at the Padova half mile track in Italy. In the Gran Premio Elwood Medium Filly (Gr. III, purse 40,040€, 2040 meters autostart) Calenita (3f Oreste-Bellange RL) was an impressive ten plus length winner in 1.13.1kr.

V.P. Dell’Annunziata was at the lines of this fine filly that defeated Camelia (3f Father Patrick-Orsia-Angus Hall) and Enrico Bellei. Third home was Chris Evert Treb (3f Ringostarr Treb-Letter Bomb Treb-Enjoy Lavec).

In the Gran Premio Ivone Grasselto (Gr. III, purse 40,040€, 1640 meters autostart) the former Yonkers International winner Zacon Gio (6m Ruty Grif-May Glade Font SM) made a three wide move from mid-pack to score in 1.11.9kr for Roberto Vecchione and conditioner Holger Ehlert.

Viscarda Jet (7f Pine Chip-Nives Jet) was a rallying second for Alessandro Gocciadoro with third to Trillo Park (9m Varenne-Mystery Flight) and Antonio Greppi.

The Gr. III Gran Premio Elwood Medium Males (purse 40,040€, 2040 meters autostart) went to 1.12.8kr timed Cosmo Spritz (3mIgor Font-Nebraska Jet) for Maurizio Cheli.

This great gaited colt bested the rallying Ceres Prav (3m Crazed-Latina Prav) for Antonio Greppi and third finishing Cobal To Di No for V.P. Dell’-Annunziata.
