Gr. II monte tests at Mauquenchy

The Friday evening Vincennes at Mauquenchy card featured two Gr. II monte events, the first being the Prix Louis Forci (Q1 for five year olds, purse 120,000€, 2850 meters for monte performers).

Ici C’est Paris (on the inside) holds off Inside (#4)

Here, the 8.9/1 odds Happy And Lucky (5f Ready Cash-Tosauma) prevailed in 1.13.7kr for jockey Adrien Lamy, trainer Franck Leblanc and owner Daniel Josset. This was her fifth career victory now for 155,940€ earned.

The 5/10 favorite Hirondelle du Rib (5f Rolling d’Heripre) was second for J.L.Cl. Dersoir and trainer Joel Hallais. Third home was 15/1 Heros de Fleur (5m Ludo de Castelle) handled by Yoann Lebourgeois for trainer Frederic Prat and owner Flavien Prat.

In the Prix Rene Palyar (Etrier 4 Ans Q1, monte Gr.II, purse 120,000€, 2225 meters four year olds) the 1.6/1 odds favorite Ici C’est Paris (4m Dollar Macker-Blue Valentine) scored in a quick 1.11.0kr with David Thomain in the irons for breeder/owner/trainer Philippe Allaire. This was his 16th career victory and it advanced his life earnings to 463,360€.

Inside (4m Prince Gede), off at 2.7/1, was second for jockey Alexandre Abrivard and trainer L.C. Abrivard. Third home was 2.4/1 Ideale du Chene (4f Bird Parker) with Paul Philippe Ploquin up for trainer Julien LeMer.
