Harry Cohais triumphs at Enghien-Soisy

Harry Cohais (7g Boccador de Simm-Toscan du Lac) took the Prix du Pont de l’Alma (purse 59,000€, 2150 meters autostart, 16 starters ages 7-11) this day (Aug. 14) at Enghien-Soisy in France timed in 1.11.5kr and reined by David Thomain.

The Jean Marc Poelmans trained and owned campaigner now has 11 wins in 57 starts for 248,765€ earned. Harry slipped up the inside pegs to defeat 10/1 Hemma de Brikvil (7f Tornado Bello) driven by Franck Nivard for Reinier Foelders the trainer and owner. Headscott (7g Village Mystic) was third in the pack for A.A. Chavatte the trainer/owner/driver.

In the Prix de la Porte de Versailles (purse 59,000€, 2875 meters, 15 starters ages 9-11) the 2.8/1 Foxpapa Tango (9g Up And Quick-Soif du Limonade) was victorious for pilot Matthieu Abrivard, trainer Igor Pierre Blanchon and proprietor Jerome Verynaud. Tango recorded career victory 14 in 76 starts for 210,190€ earned.

He was timed in 1.13.4kr to defeat 8.1/1 Full Cash de Padd (9g Ready Cash) for driver/trainer Mattig Monaco and breeder/owner Philippe David. Third was 6.2/1 Faucon de l’Alba (9g Notre Haufor) for Julien Raffestin and Ecurie Warrior.
