Hastronaute (6m Booster Winner-Une Etoile Bleue) impressively engineered a front-end harness racing victory in the Grand Prix du Capitole – Dynavena at Toulouse, France on Thursday, June 8.
The 2950-meter distance handicap race carried a 53,000€ purse and was contested by European 6–10-year-olds. Frederic Clozier teamed the 1.13.8kr timed winner that was off as the 1.1/1 odds favorite. Yannick Henry trains and owns the now 12-time career winner of 290,060€.
French Man (8m Voyage de Reve-Oh Butterfly) made a solid stretch run to be second beaten a length at 25/1 odds with Maxime Grasset driving for trainer Xavier Thielens. Echo de Chanlecy (9g Quinoa du Gers) landed third overcoming a 25-meter handicap at 4.1/1 odds. Tony LeBeller reined this one for trainer/owner E.G. Blot. Fakir Merite and Emoi Special completed the top five to the line.
