Eight out of the 10 most expensive harness racing yearlings at the Aby Yearling & Mixed Sale, held Friday night (Oct. 8) at the Aby racetrack in Sweden, were fillies.
Obeyāem, sired byĀ PropulsionĀ and out of Beauty America (she by Pine Chip) was the sales topper, sold for $126,000.
Obeyāem is foal number 11 for Beauty America, who earlier has brought top trotters like Lily Kronos (by Varenne) 1:55.4f, 1.6 million SEK and Only Kronos (by Viking Kronos) 1:56.2f, 900,000 SEK. She is the dam of Vamp Kronos (by Ready Cash) 1:54.3f, 4.6 million SEK.
The second-highest price was $75,600 paid for Daim Brodda, sired by Readly Express and out of Dancing In Thehall (byĀ Cantab Hall).
The most expensive colt was Kong Venience, sired by Face Time Bourbon and out of Valentina Wind (byĀ Muscle Hill). He was sold for $67,000.
