Here the 7.1/1 odds Hohneck (4m Royal Dream-Caranca) prevailed in 1.12.6kr driven by Francois Lagadeuc for owner/trainer Philippe Allaire. This J-P Guay bred stalwart has 12 career wins for 557,790€ earned.
The 3/2 favorite Hooker Berry (4m Booster Winner-Osaka Berry) was second for trainer/driver Jean Michel Bazire and owner Michel Aladenise. 18/1 Hussard du Landray (4m Bird Parker) and 40/1 Helgafell (4m Charly du Noyer) landed third and fourth, the latter also Allaire trained.
The Gr. III Prix Marquois (purse 80,000€, 2700 meters, European five year olds) went to 1.12.6kr timed and 3.9/1 odds Eric The Eel (5m Muscle Hill-Laurel America) reined by Adrien Lamy for S. Panamera Racing and trainer Tomas Malmqvist. This one secured his fourth victory now for 270,445€ earned. The 2.5/1 Giant Chief (5m Un Mec d’Heripre) was second with Francois Lagadeuc up for trainer Fabrice Souloy. Third was 39/1 Empire (5m Vaesterbo Prestige) piloted by Eric Raffin.
The 20/1 odds Cask Bank Bigi (3f The Bank-Settenote Club) took the Gr. III Prix Albert Rayon (purse 70,000€, 2100 meters autostart for European three year olds), handled by trainer Alessandro Gocciadoro and owner Rossano Biselli.
This was her first win in France and she now has 86,050€ in life earnings. Inmarosa (3f Amiral Sacha) was second at 5.1/1 odds for Leo Abrivard and Chloe Bar (3f Love You) landed third for trainer Gocciadoro and driver Edoardo Loccisano. Calypso di Poggio (3f Ready Cash) finished fourth. Race time was 1.12.8kr.
In the Gr. III Prix Urgent (purse 80,000€, 2700 meters, monte, European three year olds) the 7/10 favorite Inshore (3m Real de Lou-Beaute Winner) scored in 1.15.5kr with jockey Alexandre Abrivard in the irons for breeder/owner/trainer L.CL. Abrivard. Inshore won for the fifth time and raised his life earnings to 76,050€. The 25/1 Isidur Paulois (3m Scipion du Goutier) was second with J.Y. Ricart up and the 17/1 Ideal d’Avenie (3m Severino) was third for Camille Levesque.
