Today’s (April 16) second leg of the Trophee Vert series was the Prix France Bley Touraine (purse 50,000€, 3500 meters distance handicap, 6–10-year-olds) on the grass at Tours-Chambray in France.
The 4.4/1 odds Hollywood du Bois (6g Tresor Wic-L’Amerique-Echo) scored easily in 1.18.1kr with Mathieu Mottier aboard for trainer/owner Clemence Beileard, his 12th career victory now for 178,520€ earned.
Galet Sted (7g Paris Haufor) overcame a 25-meter handicap to be second at 5.2/1 with Anthony Barrier aboard for trainer C.A. Mary. Eire d’Helius (9f Ni Ho Ped d’Ombree) took third at 60/1 with Sebastian Baude aboard, this one handicapped 50-meters. The 98/1 First Lady Bleue (8f Paladin Bleu) was fourth for Timothy Thieulent.
