Today’s (June 9) sixth leg of the Trophee Vert traveling trots on turf harness racing series was at Le Touquet a Arras in France. The race named the Grand Prix de la Ville du Touquet (purse 50,000€, 2875 meters distance handicap, clockwise) saw 11-1 Hors Bord (7g Che Jenilou-Bayadere) sneak up the inner to score for trainer/driver Jean Marc Chaineau to record his 10th career win in 53 starts for 197,195€ earned.
Philippe Beine owns the winner. Race time was not reported.
Finishing second was 4.8/1 odds second choice with Gabriele Gelormini driving for trainer Marc Sassier, with third going to 91-1 Eight (10g Kool du Caux) with Robin Bouvier the trainer and driver. Heliot de Cahot at 118-1 odds and the 2-1 favorite Harry de Sassy completed the top five, the latter two handicapped 50 meters and 25 meters respectively. Harry de Sassy had 17 wins in 36 starts before today.
