Horsy Dream (7m Scipion du Goutier-Bonanza du Closet) exploded mid-stretch and scored in 1.10.2kr by six plus lengths in the Prix de l’Atlantique (Gr. I International, purse 200,000€, 2150 meters autostart, 10 starters) at d’Enghien-Soisy today (Apr. 20).

Horsy Dream thunders home to win the Prix de l’Atlantique

Eric Raffin teamed the 2.7/1 Horsy Dream for Pierre Belloche trainer for Ecurie du Closet. The winner now has 19 wins in 42 starts for 830,670€ earned. We expect he will receive an Eitloppet invite.

Second was 9/1 odds Hohneck (7m Royal Dream-Caranca) reined by Gabriele Gelormini for owner/trainer Philippe Allaire. This former Elilloppet winner has been invited to 2024 edition. He raced gamely today but never threatened.

Elvis du Vallon (10m Reve de Beylev) was third for David Thomain and trainer Charles Cuiller at 92/1 odds. Inmarosa (6f Amiral Sacha) was fourth at 27/1 odds with Leo Abrivard teaming for L.C. Abrivard. The 30/1 Ganay de Banville (8m Jasmin de Flore) was fifth for trainer/driver Jean Michel Bazire. Hussard de Landret was sixth at 8.7/1 and Hanna des Molles was a distant seventh at 122/1. Former Amerique winner Hooker Berry contested the lead early and faded to eighth while Go On Boy and Emeraude de Bais were miscue dq’s.
